Fight is on Facebook

CAMPAIGNERS against plans for an eco-town in Cambridgeshire have gone online to enlist support.

Protesters fighting to have Hanley Grange removed from a Government shortlist of 15 eco-towns have started a Facebook group to help spread their message.

County councillor Tim Stone, who represents Duxford and is one of the councillors fighting the proposals said: "Facebook is just one of the ways we are trying to engage with people to get them to think about these proposals and have their say before it is too late."
