The Government has shortlisted Hanley Grange 

The Government has shortlisted Hanley Grange, on farming land in Hinxton and Pampisford for a new town three times the size of Sawston. This so-called eco-town will be built on a greenfield site by developers who have been allowed to bypass normal planning procedures.  This affects all our local villages and towns.  It is a HUGE development which could eventually lead to one vast built-up area joining Cambridge to Essex.

Local people have only been given until 30th June 2008 to register our views. We must unite now to fight these proposals and persuade the government that Hanley Grange is the wrong place to build a new town.
